The Latch is a microchip cat feeder with a motorised lid. It reads your cat’s implanted chip or an RFID collar tag. The lid opens when a registered cat approaches and closes when they leave. Any other cat gets nothing. The feeder stores up to 32 pet identities.

If one of your cats is on prescription or reduced-portion food, the Latch handles the separation. The sealed bowl keeps wet food from drying out and holds around 400ml. Runs on four C cell batteries, not included. You’ll get around six months per set.

What is the Latch made of?

The Latch housing is white plastic with a motorised lid. The two grey bowls (single and split) are included along with a grey mat and one RFID collar tag.

Does my cat need to be microchipped to use it?

Your cat does not need to be microchipped. The Latch comes with one RFID collar tag. Your cat wears the tag and the feeder reads it instead of a chip. Additional tags are sold separately in packs of two.

What comes in the box?

The Latch arrives with the main feeder unit, one single grey bowl, one split grey bowl, a grey mat, and one RFID collar tag. A user manual is included. Four C cell batteries are required but not included.

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your Latch Items must be unused, unmodified, and returned in their original packaging with all accessories and tags included.

No. We do not charge any restocking fees. Returns are completely free of any restocking charge.
