    First step onto the pile

    The lambswool pile compresses under weight and springs back without flattening. A dog's paw sinks slightly on contact and holds. No raised rim or bolster to step over. Flat and soft from the first contact.

    Double layer, surface stays raised

    A single-layer bed compresses until the dog is on the base. The Flax uses two layers: a lambswool top and a polypropylene cotton fill beneath. The top surface stays raised because the fill absorbs the load underneath. The pile holds its shape longer as a result.

    Low profile, sits against the sofa

    The Flax sits 30 cm tall at M and 40 cm at XL. It slides flush against the base of a sofa without breaking the line of the room. The stripe runs horizontal, which sits naturally against most sofa cushion patterns. M and L both fit in the gap between sofa and coffee table on a standard floor plan.
