The Briar is a dog car seat belt in nylon webbing with dual-sided reflective strips along its length. The clip inserts into the car's seat belt buckle socket. A separate dedicated buckle sits between the clip and the leash section, keeping the attachment point away from the dog's mouth. A short elastic rope section absorbs sudden braking without snapping taut against the harness. The 360-degree rotating connector attaches directly to a dog harness, not a collar.

On a sharp stop at a junction, the elastic section stretches under the impact before the full force reaches your dog's harness, which keeps the contact point from jerking against the chest or shoulders.

The Briar has a short elastic rope section that stretches under sudden deceleration and releases gradually. The peak force on your dog's chest and shoulders is lower because the energy is distributed over a longer period.

The Briar uses a separate dedicated buckle away from the main seat clip, which pushes the chewable connection point further from your dog's head.
